In San Antonio, Texas, a 1/4 snow on the highways and the city shuts down. All the highways get closed.

Anyway, back to the original question. I would not be shoveling. It push come to shove and you need to get out. I would use the water hose to melt the snow. The problem with that is the water will freeze latter, but you do have a gravel drive way. Just something to think about.
