RE: crime wave
BAD BOY

Been having trouble with vandals messing with my mailbox.

The mailbox sits on a post at the end of my driveway, I live in the country.

Vandals tie a rope around the mailbox and pull it out of the ground. Also had a baseball bat taken to it.

Any suggestions on targeting the vandals.

RE: crime wave
hitting with baseball bat is easy.....put steel pole in busts those bats everytime......roping only helps if you bury deep and make it one piece

1/4 steel weld to steel pole, bury 3 to 4 feet 18 inch wide hole, file hole with cement. Weld more steel to make other 3 sides of box, then cut steel to fit front, install hinge at the top so it opens, and you have a box, that when hit with a bat will hurt their hands, and if it comes out of the ground, the pressure will impact their car or truck. LMAO.

I knew a kid that was in a truck with a bat, and hit a soild steel mailbox like I told you to have built. The kid broke his arm when it was hit on a drive by... LMAO, works everytime...

RE: crime wave
To stop a thief you first must think like one, and then think of what they don't wish to encounter. And wella you then can stop em right in their tracks. He,he,he... just ask me....

If you want to kill a Rodent (rat) you have to watch the rat, and watch the path they take. They will take the same path every single day. Wella, you either place a baited trap in their path, or bait, and in a day or so, you have one dead Rat... He,he,he... just ask me...

A thief is similar to a rat....he,he,he... just ask me...

Any welder can make the box and pole set-up.

Bad Boy Bad Boy Wrote:I told you before, set out boards with nails in them, when they step on them the yell real loud, that way, either the lights or the yells will get you up, and maybe take a picture of them, so have camera ready too.

I had done this before and it works, trust me. Even if you don't catch them, they will not return. But trust me, they will go to the hospital for shots if the nails are or become rusty. I also bought cheap spray paint, and after nails are installed, painted everything to look close to the ground cover such as grass. I would pick them up in the morning, and lay em down in the evening.

Then notify the local police if the nails been stepped on, they then will make contact with the local hospitals to have them call the police if any victims do come in with nail wounds to the feet and such.

You can also tie up cans to 2 ends of a string, close to the boards with nails on them, when they start jumping and hopping around from stepping on the nails they wont take the time to look for the strings, and they get wrapped up in them, having the cans then follow them making even more noise. You can buy colored string such as light brown or green at the local dollar stores...

You need to have fun with them, I sure know I would, and while having fun, you might catch them also. He, he, he... Set your strings up with 5 to 6 inch sticks to stay above ground right before or behind the nail boards.

Another is, have camera in had, dress as the Grim Reaper, and stay up at night in their path, when you see them, take picture and show them the Grim Reaper, watch the Fright happen.... He,he,he...

And don't forget, to water your area they make path in, each evening, it then will also make the area slipery for them when jumping, hoping, scream, yelling, and trying to run... He,he,he..

I haven't laughed so hard since the movie, "Home Alone"! That's funny Bad Boy!

RE: crime wave
We do have too much time. I want to get some cameras up around the house. The guy behind me had some trouble and now has a camera up and it covers part of my back yard. Some may remember the trouble I had in the past so pretty much ready for anything. Well other then they hired a new 2nd shift patrolman that started a few weeks ago, need to make sure he knows if we call for help I'm armed, don't want to get shot by mistake
