Doctor Visit

RE: Doctor Visit
I wanted to mention one more thing about the doctor's appointment.

I told the doctor about the sharp pains and burning of the knee joint that started after physical therapy placed me on a 60 lb. weight machine to force my leg straight.

After I explained to the doctor the above symptoms he mentioned re-injuring the knee. He told me to listen to my symptoms and the type of pain I am having.

We also talked about the nerve pain I am having in my foot and how it has gotten worse since the knee replacement.

Up until surgery the doctor has been rude to me and acted like I was faking my injury. After surgery he apologized to my family and told them I wasn't lying about my injury and he didn't realize the knee was as bad as it was.

Today, the doctor was a changed person, he was very nice to me.

Bummer that is great that the doctor is nicer to you after than before, but it still is not fair that he could not believe what you had been saying before. I am so happy however, that you are finnally getting the care that you needed....love Red

RE: Doctor Visit
Yes, I am having the cramps of the calf. What I don't like is the lighting bolts to the foot as they are getting worse.

I asked the surgeon about this and he said it may and may not be related to the knee. (I love his straight answer)

Been having problems with my other ankle giving out, both sides of the ankle was broken about 10 years ago. I worry about a refracture due to the stress the knee replacement is placing on that ankle.
