Brooke says Thank you...
The other day I posted a picture of Brooke because I thought it would help us all to see our prayers being answered so greatly. Then you all responded in such a delight, I decided I wanted to share the responses with Brooke. She has written back and I have copied and pasted it below...I BTW...am Aunti C..thats me...my neices and nephews have always called me by that name...could not say Carolyn I guess. Also what I have never shared with you is that Brooke lost her brother to a boating accident when he was 16 and she was 17 years old. When she refers to Brandon, she is speaking of her brother. They were very close. They are both my youngest brother's children. Also when she refers to when she opened her eyes was when her mom and her dad were there, her mom had been away and did not arrive until day 4 after the accident. So there was quit a span of time between when she had the accident and when she actually opened her eyes. Again thank you all so much. I believe that your prayers have saved a very precious young lady's life. I will alway love you for your prayers, care and compassionate to me during that time. Love you all always ...Red

From Brooke......
Auntie C, or should I say Red Wink You have made my day! Thank you so much for sharing this with me, it truly makes me feel loved. You can share this with all the people you chat with that I truly appreciate all their prayers and all their wonderful comments about me. I was in tears after reading them all. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Now I'm going to tell you something and if you want to share it with them you can as well. This happened right before I opened my eyes, waking up. I remember like it was just yesterday and think about it every day. It's usually the way I begin my day. But like I said, right before I woke up, I saw Brandon with his huge, wonderful smile. He looked at me and held my so tight in his arms then looked into my eyes and said "It's not your time yet". And the next thing I knew I woke up and there was both my mom and dad! As you know, mom had been away for quite some time before then, but what a feeling it was to open my eyes to see my MOM Smile It was such an awesome feeling! I know I have a guardian angel.....my brother. I know he was looking out for me that day and he was right, it wasn't my time yet. I have to beautiful girls to take care of and show them how much I love them each and every day! I truly believe that God spared me for a reason and that I am living proof that he is a miraculous God! I was told by my co-workers that a bunch of them would get together to pray for me as well and they would put me on their prayer chains at their churches. One of the ladies said "I don't think there's every been so many people praying for one person this much before!" Without all the love and support and prayers from all my family and friends, I wouldn't be here today. Also, someone I worked with knows one of the firemen that came to the scene and he told her that the whole car was crushed, except for a little pocket where I was safely hidden. He said it looked like there was something that was wrapped around me that prevented me from being crushed. I believe that was God's hand around me protecting me. I never looked at any pictures of my car, because I didn't want to see them because I know it would be awful. But from what I've heard, it was just completely crushed and no one would've believed that I was the driver and survived the accident.

Well Auntie C, thank you again for sharing this with me. It really means a lot to me. Don't forget to thank them all for me, I appreciate everything! I love you very much!

Oh and I have printed this email out to share with my parents, I'm sure they would like to read this as well.

RE: Brooke says Thank you...
Thanks for sharing Red!
Brooke is definitely a special young lady. I belive that her brother IS watching over her and IS her guardian angel. Years ago, I had a similar situation when in the hospital & was not expected to live...my recently deceased mother came to me, and protected me as if she was my personal nurse and protector. It is something I shall never forget, as it was real, I swear ! Everyone tells me it was the morphine playing tricks on my mind....but I know better!!! I'm sure his presence to her will remain in her mind and everyday thoughts, forever, just as my experience has with me. She is a special one indeed, her job on this earth is not yet complete . Brandon was right, it wasn't "her time" and he will forever be protecting and holding her close.
Take care....the prayers continue, LillyBig Grin

Injured worker, & tired of it all! I'm too old for games!!

A careless word may kindle strife, a cruel word may wreck a life, a timely word may level stress, and a loving word may heal and bless!
