CA-1 year since AME, report still not in
Is it normal for the AME report to still not be in after a year? I had the AME in June '11 which was preceded by my Depo in April '11. As of September '11 I (finally) got a hold of my lawyer's aide and she told me that there was something up with the AME report (not sure who didn't like it, us or them) and that it was due in the first week of December '11.

So is it normal for the AME to take so stinkin long?

a year is pretty long even in califnoria's screwed up system. those kinds of delays don't help anyone.

your atty can depose the doctor and get his verbal opinion, if they are unable to find the time to put it in writing.

you can also find another doctor if the carrier will agree.
if both parties cancel the report, the doctor will lose his fee.
