Timeframe for IC/DA to contest AME

Hello All!

Is there a specific timeframe for the IC/DA to say they are contesting a claim in CA? I had my AME exam 10 weeks ago today. I went to a surgeon consult on 5/31. The surgeons report was sent to the DA finally on 6/13. My Attorney said based on the surgeons report, (it says I need surgery) the DA would have my TTD reinstated and my retro monies paid. Is there a timeframe now that I have to wait for as well?

there is a penalty for unreasonable delay (L.C. 5814). it's up to the court to decide what is unreasonable.
you also can request a expedited hearing when benefits are being denied.
