Question for Red

RE: Question for Red
I am going to school for an associates degree in marketing and management. I will mostly be taking business classes. It is a whole new world, but one I think I can work in. I am hoping that after I get my a.d. I can continue school for a higher degree. We'll see. I just know that I can no longer pick up between 100 and 200 pounds, and do all of the physical work I've always done. I think we will both do great Bummer!
Woo-Hoo us!

RE: Question for Red
ksgirl...I am so proud of you and Bummer. Education is always a great place to start a new career and life. It has done wonders for my life. I started thinking just like you are thinking...think small, but dream big....it will happen.. lots of work, lots of pain, but lots of laughs as you meet new people, lots of success as you have just experienced with your first two classes... take it one day and one step ...through one class...and before you know it...it will be graduation day... I hope I know you then... Red

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

RE: Question for Red
I'm just picturing myself graduating. I can actually see it. I've never graduated before. I quit school when I was 16 and for a long time I thought I would have no life. Then I met a great guy and had two amazing daughters. That marriage (second one) didn't work out, but I kept going and I am now married to a great man who gives me so much emotional support. I know that my husband and daughters will be there with me when I graduate. I just hope I can do it before my girls. I hope I know all of you when that time comes!
