possible new injury
Heres the deal, after MVA in 2007 I substained many injuries. Tear in my shoulder and 1 year later was at mmi for that injury... About 2 months ago I started getting pain and tightness in same shoulder and has progressed and was sent to pt.. They feel its another tear and feel its a new injury due to a new activity at work (unloading semi at work, lifting shoulder height and passing it down.) My dr that has been over seeing my injuries since 2007 sent me to pt under the understanding it was just an agravation due the previous injury...

I have tried to call my lawyer, but no answer (left messages).
I think I should file a new wc claim with the hr department. Although it is being covered already but dont want any mistakes in my case..

Any info and your thoughts would be great.. Bronco.. from Wisconsin..

I think You are Correct to have this Documented and Added, and Your Attorney will Probably Agree! You know as Well as I, if We don't have Everything Documented, They'll find a Way around it. My Opinion Only, I would want a New Claim Filed, or have this One Added to Your Current Claim as an Aggravation at the Very Least. As long as You were Working within Your Restrictions I don't See You having a Major Problem! Best of Luck and let Us know how it Goes!!Wink

RE: possible new injury
Wisconsin considers an aggravation to be a new injury.

RE: possible new injury
Thats what I figured as well, I await my lawyers decision.. Yesterday I briefly talked to my boss of the pain I'm in and told her what my substitute ncm has sugested to my drs.. And that is to alow me to take narcotics while driving/working to help relieve my pain... Well I already knew the answer but she replied with " NO NO that aint gona happen here withinh our company and babbled on and more less said thats a red flag and I would be gone... My pm doesnt know how I can put up with my pain levels (which have been pushing an 8) while working.. I tell her I want to work and some times it brings tears, and I do take my pain meds when I am done delivering and at least 45 min to an hour before home. And some days after work I never see the outside, and I'm to the point of just saying f---- it and stop working. But then I have this voice saying dont, you need the money and the DR must take you from work...

My surgeon said from the begining he would not release me for 3 to 5 years, and now I know why... He said for 2 years Im going to get stronger untill I have reached my best and then I will go down a bit and level off.. Well I'm going down and down and hope it stops soon............

Now that I have babbled and vented..............
