I called Pa. worker's compensation RX pharmacy today & found out why my pain meds are filled & my depression med isn't.  Depression is not in my claim.  So; I have 2 choices: have my atty file a claim for it to be added (struggle here --- I bet)  or just have my regular prescribtion plan cover it & pay a $5. co-pay.
My question is: I moved acrossed the state; will I have to travel back for everything that needs to be done?  Thanks.

YUP..unfortunately, if your claim doesn't include depression then w/c wont pay on it. In the meantime get your personal insurance to pay it or you pay out of pocket...eventually you will be reimbursed.

I also paid for my own meds then made copies of all receipts and sent them to my attorney.

Jay, I'm from Pa. also and don't understand what you mean by travel back for everything? You can get your meds. through the mail or at a local pharmacy near you, and your attorney should be able to handle most things over the phone. The only time you may have to return is if you have a hearing and it states Claimant is to be at Hearing, This is Mandatory. Hope this helps and have a Great Day!!

Your Doctor needs to say that your depression is a direct cause from your injury and pain and then you can get it approved by W/C.

My atty did call me back after I posted & he did say I need to have my dr state that my depression is  from my injury. He also; stated that any hearings would be over the phone. ((Still in limbo ~~ I was refering to traveling back across the state IF I had to have a hearing)).  Thanks everyone.

Jaycojade, why not, just ask your treating Doctor, to Reffer you to a Psychiatrist? This way, you have the Medical portion of this documented and covered for your best interest.
