That's bad, really bad.
Another hard lesson my brother-in-law had to learn, only in Kansas. When you live in the country don't go out to pee at 0300, bobcats abound. Well let's just say Mr Bobcat got between him and the house. So he doesn't go outside after dark no more to relieve himself, costs a bit more in TP but saves laundering the pants

I keep telling Dave we should get a motion sensor light for the front porch so it turns on when something walks up there. Then I ask myself DO I REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS OUT THERE? One of the funniest bear stories was when Dave and I went up to my old house one day and the shed door was slightly open. He said those darn kids must have left the door open after they threw corn out for the deer. He walked up and went to close the door and all of a sudden this bear came running out the door, almost knocking him over. I was laughing so hard I alsmost peed myself. The bear ran down through the field and started up the hill. As he was going up he fell on the ice and slid back to the bottom, he looked our way and honest to God it looked as if he were embarrassed that he had fallen, he turned his head the other way and slunk off into the woods.

Backache and Dave please be careful of the bears. Sounds like you need to look out side before going out. Don't know if I would rather have the bears or the snakes we are dealing with. With the river out we are dealing with snakes coming up out of the river.

First Day of Bear Season One Year at Clem's Camp Backache, it was about 4:00 a.m., and I was at the Kitchen Table trying to awake and get a Cup of Coffee down, and Clem was Up and Ready to Go!! He told Me to wait Right there, and said He was going into the Field across the Road to Look around, and He would be Back Soon. After about 5 Minutes I Hear Clem Laughing and Screaming, and He ran in the Front Living Room Door, through the Back Kitchen Door, with a Bear Hot on His Heels!! As He Slammed the Back Door He Said: "This ones for You, I'll go get My Own Now!!" LOLTongue The Little Fellows are getting Ready for the Big Sleep, and Filling Their Bellies!! Sleep on the Couch Tonight, and Leave the Bedroom Window Open to Dave's Bedroom, maybe the Bear just wants a Little Love and Hugs!!!!!Tongue

I love Clem stories...LOL If the bear slept with Dave , they would keep each other up all night with their snoring LOL

I wish the bear would come back tonight. It's 1 AM and my back won't let me sleep so I could use the company..LOL

Tonight if You can't Sleep, put a Blind Robbin under Dave's Pillow, open the Window, and wait for the Fun to Begin!!!Tongue

Still, I don't get it???? Tongue

Backache, it looks like you are gathering some interesting ideas for your next book.

Going back a couple of posts, I agree that some things are better left "unknown". Tongue

A Blind Robbin is a Very Pungent Fish that can Usually be Found in Bars, they are Wrapped in Plastic Packages, and are Dried Out and Very Very Salty, and the Smell is Horrific! Some Folks like to Eat Them while Drinking Beer, and Anyone within 15 Bar Stools in Either Direction can Smell it!! Backache knows what One is, and if a Bear were to Smell One of those with the Heightened Senses They Have, Dave would be in Big Trouble, because There would be Bears coming from a Mile Away!!!Tongue
