Jayne- glad to see things are turning around for you and your family. Sound like Bill is doing well. You need to eat or you will be sick. You and Bill still have a long road to go.

jayne Wrote:will do Monster how are things going for you?Your trailer is it coming around ?and your plummies did you sell them?if not are they shipable?I sure wish I had thought to ask before my son came up but my mind was stripped......if you are looking for a place to park your trailer for a bit in exchange for teaching me about plummies and sharing Dr pepper and helping me keep up the yard and and how use the cricut...I am willing to call it a even trade....or please contact state parks where you are wanting to go and ask if they have openings for camp hosts while they pay no money your lot and utilities are free...our park and cedar lake sometimes need a host at the horse camp it is a bit more work cuz you have to check in the horses and make sure they have current coggins test......and they really like those that are willing to stay for long periods....And lord knows I would enjoy having you close and you could keep all your plummies cuz I have a large greenhouse......if the church is able to get the ends up....think on it

Dear Jayne,

That sounds so wonderful but for awhile I am going to try and stay nearby my dad. He doesn't sound to enthused about it...he's used to us being away and thinks I'm going to be a pain in the rear I think, LOL! Who knows maybe I will be!

Everything you wrote just sounds fantastic and I would dearly love to be near you or parked in your yard so I could be of help. Plus my 1/2 sisters are near you, the only draw back to that is so is my mother. I would also have to leave awhil;e when it comes time to butcher the cow puppies Sad

Still have my plumies but haven't been out there in a couple of weeks, just been to busy or in to much pain to do anything at all. Not sure if they are even alive at this point which is sad when I think of how much money I invested in them.

The treiler is coming along and Dominic finished the truck. I thought I was going to have to buy a new catalytic converter at the wonderful price of 1916.00 but he replaced an oxygen sensor for me today and it passed a prelim smog test. I didn't have the money to actually have him finish the test but i'm going to start the garage sales this Friday. i'm hopinh to be out of here in the next 2 weeks. He is going to install the water pump on the trailer before I leave and I still need a small refridgerator and tiny hot water heater. I also need a generator but I may have to wait on that for awhile. Oh yeah, I need to finish the roof too...I got about halfway with the repairs and putting the elastomeric roof coating on to try to help keep the summertime temps down in there. I should have been finished with all that but my pain levels have been high from the neck down unfortunately. Now I just need to get in gear no matter how I feel and force myself as I want out of here so badly.

I am unfortunately going to have to sell my car which hurts as it gets great gas mileage and has ice cold air but we do what we have to do.

I'm sorry I swiped your thread girl, you know better than to ask me any questions, LOL! I'm so happy to hear you sound so well and that Bill and your daddy are both doing better. Bill's a tough cookie, he has to be to keep up with your honey do list. Sure wish I was there so I could give you a little rest and just try to take your mind off things even if just for a few minutes.

Please continue the updates and know that we all love you and continue our prayers for your family.

Love and hugs,
monster

RE: WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO - Lilly - 06-25-2009 08:21 AM

Jayne.....Consider this a Happy Long distance HUG !!!

I am so glad Bill is doing so well. I do believe I ran a very low grade temp too...it is the bodies normal reaction to a major trauma (Like open heart) PLUS...he now has circulation like he hasn't had in a very long time!!
Another tidbit... EAT GIRL!!! You will be of no good to Bill if you are sick yourself!

Bills climb to health is far from over...it is utter hell when one goes home. Hopefully he's set up with cardiac rehab....that's the only thing that got me going again! If it's available and covered under insurance...don't turn it down! Use it!!
I had in home nurse care for a few weeks.....is Bill getting this too?

Our prayers were answered once again!
Take care Jayne and Bill!

Jayne,
Wow......what a great report. It sounds like Bill has made more progress since you and I spoke yesterday afternoon. It is also wonderful to hear your father and mother are doing better also. If dad is griping, he is feeling better.....lol. Did you have any problems with the questions you asked me about yesterday afternoon? You can PM me or call me if you would like to talk about it if so and I will try to find the answers for you. I have a friend that is a notary I can call who does our work. It is so good to hear that your spirits are lifted. By the way, how is Becca doing with her stomach? That poor baby was stressing herself out to the max. Just please continue to keep us posted with continuing good news. Please take care of yourself and also take into consideration what Lilly told you regarding home health and rehab. That will be a tremendous help for both of you. Please call whenever you feel you want to. I wish I was close to you so I could give you a helping hand with your overflowing plate. Give Bill one of those cajun hugssssss for me and I am sending one to you right now. Tell Bill I said for him to go on with his bad (Jayne's lame attempt to bypass the Bad Word Filter) self bouncing back like the champion he his. Take care, God Bless and remember I love y'all.

Cajun Hugsssssssssss,
MJC

I dont know about home health but I will ask......I didnt even know it was an option.... he is getting stronger and able to whine ......he whines when I make him use his breathing thingy he whines when I make him eat just one more bite and then one more....and he whines when I push the water....so I think that is a good sign...on the other hand he is getting restless and wants to walk...altho he isnt going far he does go bit a bit more each time.....they are having to give him insulin they said with all that is going on its easier to manage than the meds by mouth.....The brothers from church have told him they will finish the greenhouse and to just accept it as a fact......he has to learn to accept help for awhile.....But since he is starting to do the male thing(whine) I do beleve he is getting better.....he is staying awake longer and longer so I am happy thanks each and every one of you

RE: WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO - Tuffy - 06-25-2009 11:16 AM

Jayne, Here is a sight you may want to check out, it may give you a little insight into what will be happening once Bill is released. He will be given instructions for his rehab before he leaves the Hospital.

http://www.sjmercyhealth.org/110573.cfm

Sorry to say but probably he will no longer be able to eat fast food, and will be placed on a Heart diet.....BOO HOO

There are also several things you will need for when he is home, For bathing, instead of purchasing a shower chair, use a plastic lawn chair in the tub , that he can sit on, You can also buy a shower hose that has a rubber suction tip, that hooks on to the tub faucet, and they are inexpensive, if you don't have one attached to your shower head. If you need any other ideas, let me know, I will be glad to help in any way I can.

RE: WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO - chrischris - 06-25-2009 03:06 PM

That is great news Jayne. And then after reading Monster's thread, I got to thinking about how strong we all have had to become in times of crisis. Most of us have had them during the 3 years I've been on this board, and everyone comes to their rescue; sometimes with prayers and sometimes with cards or calls. Everything is meant for a higher purpose and even though it is hard to "believe" at times, God will not give us more than we are able to handle.

With that being said......may I tell you a quick joke about your thread title (WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO)

Here goes........Redneck joke..............Jeff Foxworthy was taking his morning shower when he noticed his girls running in and out of the bathroom and giggling. He pulled the curtain back a bit and asked them what they were up to? The youngest one said, "daddy, we are trying to see your WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO." Well, Jeff got very serious at that point and said girls, I want to tell you all something. "WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO's are VERY poisonious." His oldest daughter interjected at that point and said, "THAT'S NOT TRUE! If it was, the DOG would be dead by now!

Sorry, just thought of this by the thread title......Ha Ha!!!!!! Tongue Tongue
