Hello everyone. Been away for awhile. Waiting very patiencely. Diagnoised with median and ulnar entrapment in bilateral upper extremities. Radicolopathy in right C7-C8. Done with EMG of upper extremities. Lastly, An NCV of both bilateral upper and lower extremities. Shows -peripheral poly-neurophathy of both upper and lower extremities. I been injured since 12-20-07. No PT,PM, or any other treatment. Only was allowed 15mins. visit with choice of Dr. Told by lawyer, an tele-conferance with judge, ins. co. lawyer, and herself will take place hopefully this week coming. Any which way it goes, I have learned to accept it. All my worries are placed with our God up above. It really a shame that we have to go through the ordeal placed upon us by the ins. co.'s and their lawyers. By placing my faith and belief in God. I'm able to feel the way I do right now. Thanks for letting me share this with you all. I'm in La. By the way, have you heard about La. gov. bobby jindal is running for Pres. in 2013? I say, "what a joke"

Had median nerve release on the left last Tuesday, dressing will be removed in a few days.
I will need surgery in the future on the right, median & ulnar release.
I also have bilateral knee, back, and neck injuries.
I was injured in 2005, due to denials & delays it was 36 months after the injury beforeI received the knee replacement.
At this time I wait the judge's decision on medical treatment for the other knee, back & carpal tunnel.
Don't giveup and keep advocating for yourself to receive your medical treatment.

I live in Louisiana also. Been given the run around by the Ins. co. w/c and their lawyers. I obtained a very good attorney and put every thing in God's hand just like you and now things are falling into place and moving faster than I thought it would. I applied for social security disability without a lawyer and got the letter of approval in 3 and1/2 weeks. keep your spirits up and things will work out for you.

Thanks. Everything will work out for you also. I have also applied for SSDI. Have a group of folks working on my first appeal. Waiting for a date to appear before an judge. I believe everything will work out alright. Will be back again soon.

My question is, I was wondering is the median and ulnar entrapment on the right side also?
For if it is, it is always possible that it can be more related to the C7 - C8 area instead. So, it makes me wonder, if you are having a problem with your Cervical Spine area (Neck area). As C8 is a Nerve that connects to the median and ulnar Nerves.

No. Both sides. Constant pain in cervical area. Tendernes and burning sensation between both shoulder blades. feels like both shoulders have a space in the joints. from both elbows down into hands i have tightness. weakness, numbness, and the occasionly shocking , which makes me want to cry sometimes. The lower back now hurts also. left leg below knee into foot.numbness, drop foot after about 10mins. walk. shocking sensation also.being an delivery driver, i had to utilize every muscle in my body to get the job done. my belief is that, if my initial onset of injury was taken care of promtly, i would not be in the shape that i am in now. it just manifested itself into the what it is now. I asks God everyday for the courage and strenght to make it just for today. I know He is there. Because not only has He brought me this far with my injury. He has allowed me to be free of illegal drugs and alcohol for 2yrs. and 8mths. now.With no pain pills, just 10mg. flexeral. Eventhought I hurt real bad at times. I feel really good on the inside for that. Not having to deal with alcoholism and abusing drugs. along with my physical condition. This is real. I thank God!!
