a system needing fixing...... - denmantragic - 12-03-2008 10:18 PM ive done therapy and meds my lawyer is at war with a real witch adjuster.now the third doc with a great track record says i have 3 herniated lumbar discs,he wants a myelogram, the adjuster isnt giving the ok.while i worked on light duty the employer deducted child support but never paid it now employer has not paid my court ordered child support for 6 weeks and has me in a bind there.my employer sent me home while on light duty the day after i got an attorney, they wont say either way whether im fired or laid off what a mess.anyone got good news can i get paid for all of this crap,im tired of being a nice guy and im tired of beating up my body to be the star construction worker hoping to move up to a good positition...... RE: a system needing fixing...... - AQA - 12-03-2008 10:30 PM If the dr. takes you off work, you should then be receiving wc monitary benifits. I would contact the dr. and advise him/her that work has no light duty work. RE: a system needing fixing...... - Lilly - 12-04-2008 09:46 AM Hi, I believe I would take my check stubs which show proof of the child support deductions to the friend of the court.....it is not you fault your employer is seedy and is doing something else with that money. It seems to me that they can get themselves in very hot water over this.....and they should! AQA is correct, if they do not have light duty work for you (apparently not since they sent you home) you should be recieving WC benefits weekly. Make sure your employer has turned in your injury to the state. You should have receiving a letter from the state acknowledging that fact. If not, call the IC yourself. Your employer sounds like he is not trustworthy...so do not trust what he says he does....ck it out for yourself! Good luck, Lilly
RE: a system needing fixing...... - oblivyous - 12-04-2008 10:27 AM Get a lawyer and dont trust the IC or the IC adjuster. Your employer doesnt sound to trust worthy either . |
