Painted Mailboxes - red1030 - 09-30-2008 10:10 PM

Hi all... yes it is me again....I thought I would show you some hand painted mailboxes. IN this area, they are very popular. I would say that most want a painted mailbox. I don't know about your areas. I have painted a few for my neighbors when they asked, because mine is painted but have not sold them until now. These are some I painted for the craft fairs I am going to go too.... see what you think. Mailboxes are a little more difficult to paint ...it is difficult to come up with designs that fits the mailbox and leaves room for someones name and address... Love Red

[attachment=235] Of course this is a mail box that goes on the door. Many here have this type of mailbox. Do people in your areas have painted mail boxes. i have seen some on line that hand paint the person wanting the mailbox's house. I think that is really cool. I think when I get the time, I am going to try to do that for my mailbox. I have seen ocean scenes, landscapes etc...I think they are so much nicer that the flowers etc. however, most people have the flowers around here. I am just practicing with mail boxes at this time... love Red

Red- the mail boxes are beautiful. Some people around here have painted mail boxes but not as many as you have in your area.

As for the rooster- Red what about the one I had when I was at you house?

Jayne please take a picture of one of your roosters and post it so RED can see the colors and how the tail goes. Sure would be something to paint.

Red, I think that anything you attempt to do, turns out great. Your craft fairs should do extremely well, also your web business when it is up and going. Just don't get yourself so many orders that you become overwhelmed. I don't want to see you gettinng ill again.
