All of my daughter's children were born with a full head of dark hair, then it falls out and becomes red then blonde. It is so odd since she was a bald baby,lol. He was in his bassinet at the hospital and his mama was in the restroom when he began crying, he was hungry. He has a great appetite. He gained back his birth weight plus an ounce by his first check up on the 18th.

This is the proud big brother holding Matthew. Matthew's name means "a gift from the Lord" which he truly is.

Very nice pics Vicki. Matthew is adorable. Your daughter has her hands full, and will be glad when you move closer. My husband is going to Adel, about 10 miles from Lakeview Oregon next month. How close is that to where your daughter lives?

Red, Thank you for your nice comments. I'm happy to be a MeeMaw, lol. I know how you feel with all of your grandchildren now. I can't wait till all of my appointments are done and I can go back to them.
Chris, Thank you also for your nice comments. I plan on being the one who will be the children's babysitter when I move there. They live in Northern Ca, about 1 hour or so from the Oregan border, not sure where Lakeview Or. is. We went to Golds beach Or. and Brookings Or. for the coast trip. I hope your are healing well.

I can answer that Chris...I would guess that if vickinat's daughter lives one hour south of the Oregon California Border, then it would be another 5 hours to lakeview. Lakeview is cattle country in the mid to south easter region of Oregon. I have been to Lakeview many times growing up, and I have a cousin who lives there with her family. Her husband is a forman on a large cattle ranch.
Chris Chris...is your husband driving to Oregon? He must be coming up I5 and then will most likely go east from Ashland. I finished my Bachelors degree in Ashland at the Southern Oregon State College. I believe it is called something else now. I left that area in 1990. A long time ago...

OMG! Vickie.I just caught up on the post. What a beautiful, wonderful family. How blessed you are. Matthew is precious. I love his big brother holding him. You must be having a ball with these beautiful children. God bless and have a safe flight home.
