I hope that I don't get lost at all, especially if it becomes nighttime, lol. I will have my cell charged up, just hope I will be able to get a signal up in the mountains, lol. I have a van now, so if any of you see one going up and down the road looking lost, catch me hehe. I can't wait to meet y'all and of course to see Red & Del again.

Bummer, I will be praying for you. I doubt I will sleep at all that night. I have to be at the hospital for 5:45am on the 24th. We have to leave at 4:30 just to be there. I will also pray that everyone has a safe and happy trip.
To everyone going on the trip: If you get pulled over, just say you are sorry and admit you were speeding. Most police will cut breaks if people seem sorry. It's the ones that want to argue or ask what they did wrong that we tend not to give breaks to.

Wait until you hear this one. Last fall I bought this beautiful canopy for up at the Castle so Hubby has been working his (Jayne's lame attempt to bypass the Bad Word Filter) off to get it up before the get together. He made a concrete circle for it to sit on and of course PA being PA the cement cracked because it was so hot and he and Josh were having a hard time floating it. Then he wanted to tapcon it down, but had to wait until the cement was completely dry......well I was up there today getting prepared and all at once it began to rain buckets and the wind picked up to incredible speeds and there went the canopy down over the hill. Bent the posts up quite a bit and screwed it up a bit, but he and Joshie got it back up. I just hope it stays put now..............

jayne...I guess you better drive.... lollol..you did say that you were following Del and I didn't you...hehehehe...no just kidding..Del has always been an over the speed limit by 5 mile kind of guy, but my kids could tell stories of my racing down the road...big surprise eh? I just my foot take over my head of no non sense that I typically believe myself to be...however, give me a wheel and a road even now in this NJ where you can't see the roads because of the number of cars I still speed in and out...then opps I forgot, I don't drive anymore...this crazy disease of mine..oh well...life could be worse than giving up my license to drive.
Ok...is everyone on board for who is coming when and who is bringing what.. and who wants to paint versus who does not. Here is what I believe we are doing. Please back ache jump in and tell me if any of this is incorrect. BTW..I am not working here..I have a whole book on this trip of what is happening. but I have missed a few details such as:
Do we bring bed linen?
Do we bring Towels?
Do we bring cleaning products to clean up afterwards and to keep the kitchen and house clean as we are there?
Do we bring pillows?
Anything else we need to know?
Do you have a coffee pot?
Is there a pan large enought to cook a 10lb prime rib in a bag..?
How large is the refrigerator to keep all our food in?
Are there enough dishes?
Is there a diswasher to do dishes in?
Do you have washcloths and towels?
Anything else that we need to know?
Here is what I know so far.
Arrival times:
Bill, jayne, Red, Del, Backache, husband, Still, and wife will arrive on the 23rd for Couples night.
Meal schedules:
23rd Monday supper time
Jayne and Carol
24th Tuesday Breakfast - I don't know.
24th Tuesday Lunch - I don't know.
24th Tuesday Supper - Carol and Del
25th Wednesday Breakfast - I dont' know
25th Wednesday Lunch - I believe it is Vickie and Vickie
25th Wednesday Supper - Jayne and Bill / Carol - Salad
26th Thrusday Morning Breakfast - Still and Wife.
Tuffy Snacks, drinks, and tea.
Del and Carol - Coffee, cream, sugar...guess what jayne I am bringing equal ..... lol...I will make sure that Del does not put equal into your coffee....lollollollol...smiling
I may have some of the above wrong. Please let me know so I can't update this post for backache. She has her hands full now so lets give her some help.
As you can see above we have some meals missing above...however, I do not know about you, but I don't need three meals aday. I have a suggestion. Could we just skip lunches. We could make a breakfast and a supper and then just maybe something for the kids or a sandwich at lunch time. Then that would mean that Vickie and Vickie could make the Tuesday morning breakfast unless they have already bought something to make. Then just make it a early lunch and late supper on Tuesday.
Does anyone have any more ideas? Just let this post know and I will update this form of communication to keep us all organized.
Also the T-shirts are on there way to my house. They are great and I believe you will alike them. I will bring a fabric marker that will stay in after washing for signing each others names..... love you all and can't wait to see you all...love Carol

Do we bring Towels? I have one set for each person so those staying longer may want to bring extra.. kids need to bring some

Backache...Del is bringing a small coffee pot also. I will try to find my large party pot, but it is in one of 2000 or more boxes....hehehehe...but seriously I will try also. Del and I will bring some cleaning products...and no you will not do the dishes. You are going to get some rest. Love Red
