would like to know the deal with ic nurse in ny, is it legal for them to go
and talk with doc. if i go 4 appointment can i tell broom hida im not comfortable speaking with them. what's the facts with them thnks..

I had my lawyer fire mine......Here in okla if you get hurt and WC pays for it they have the rights to the records dont know about NY....watch her like a hawk

yes, it's the employers claim and the employers nurse has a right to medical information and communication with the doctor.
you don't have to speak to the nurse or the adjuster.

unless you are lucky enough to have an ol fashioned doc......My NCM made the mistake of telling my doc how to treat...he refused to speak with her and told me I could get rid of her or him but he wasnt gonna take orders from a Nurse....so my lawyer fired her......

As 1171 said, they can Speak with Your Dr. Before or After Your Examination, but You can Request that they not be in the Exam Room with You, It's Your Right to Privacy. Be Careful that they don't try and befriend You, they will try and get anything You Say Twisted around and Used Against You. There are some Good Ones Out there, but by Your Description of Yours, You may not have gotten a Good One! Best of Luck!!Wink
