recived my ime report yeasterday,it came back good for me just thought i would share how funny it was wc dr. said no walking, sitting,or standing for more than 15 min at a time but he thinks i can do some type of sedentary job 2 hrs a day 2-3 days a week maybe.i have already applied for ssd as per my dr,pm dr and surgen. and wc dr only gave me a 16% PERMANT RATING and i already won a 25% rating in 2003 and now going back for a worsening rating.

How long did it take to get the IME results back. So I did not know that if your injury gets worse in a few years that you can have another rating and settlement.

So after I receive a settlement for my injury, if i get worse in a few years, I get re-evaluated and get another settlement if worse?

Again my injury was in the state of maryland my first settlement was for 30%ppd and now am sueing for a worrsening of the injury and as long as it was within 7 yrs of the date of the last settelment check .i was pd half up front and weekly instalments on second half.and lifetime medical, granted i dont know if that will change this time because i'v applied for ssd.but it also took 9 months to reopean in so many words.they tried to say it was a new injury. but not only all my docs but thiers to confirmed it was thier injury.
and it is now very bad worse and one thing that sucks for me is i just had my 30 b-day so i'm still young.

I thought in your first post that your settlement was for 25%? So was it 25 or 30, and what is your injury that it was so high? Just curious. Is it your back?

You know I find the AMA guidelines to be truely amazing in how they do PIR ratings. I get put at 19% for loss of my dominant hand. I can not do anything with this hand without my meds. I have to take them as soon as I wake up so that I can get dressed and brush my teeth, shower etc. each day, and I felt that was a low rating for what it has effected in my daily living, and to have the IC think that the rating was to high and had me have a IME exam to lower it.

I would think that a domiant hand loss would be alot higher than what i was put at. I would love for them to tie one hand behind their back for a week and see how hard it is. Even typing, I have to always stop for a bit to type a sentence.
