Sweet, so sorry to hear you will need surgery, But on the other hand , if this is what it will take to get you mobile again I say it is good news. Have they scheduled surgery yet? Keep us updated, and God Bless.

sweet tooth... I am so sorry. From 1992-1995 I was the department head over the ortho clinic that only ran two days a week... and I use to assist the doctor with these knee shots...ouch..it brought some rather big sailors to tears..it hurt so bad. I am so sorry that you are going through all of this... get some rest sweetie...love you and skeeter...Red

Sweet - I'm sorry to hear your knee is so bad. I know the majority of people have great success with knee replacements and when the time is right I know you will too. Sorry the shot drove your sugar up. Please keep a close eye on it and let us know you're okay in the morning.

Hugs,
monster

Having shots in the knee causes extreme pain. Several side effects go with these shots, sweet tooth I hope they gave you information on these side effects.

Delaying a knee replacement will only lead to more medical problems and I am an example of that.

The doctors have linked my back & hip to the delay of my knee replacements.

I came across a web site about medical complications due to the delay of medical treatment in women,
I will see if I can find the site.

Sweets,
I would listen to Bummer if I was you. She's in knee deep with problems. The longer you put it off, and the more shots you get, will only make it harder for you. I've heard the knee replacements aren't as bad as they used to be, but they still have a long rehab.

I hope you get some rest and some pain relief. Do you already have a good "specialist" in mind to do your surgery?

Take care and payers are going up for you right now.
