This is an emergency - backache - 02-14-2008 07:16 PM

The Daver being the Sweetheart he is bought me a very pretty teddy for Valentines. Unfortunately he always buys me the same size clothes he did when we were first married, because I guess he doesn't see that extra 15-20 lbs that I have put on. The question is how can I lose 15 lbs. by tonight, its already 6:30 PM here? I need your help.............

I really just wanted to tell all of you HAPPY VALENTINES DAY and I LOVE ALL OF YOU AND THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE FOR ME.

LOL backache sounds like you have a man like I have. He has been there for me since day 1 of my accident. Taken such lovingly care of me. We were only dating 8 months when I my life got turned upside down. He sure came thru and showed me what a wonderful man he is. I like this forum so far. I hope to get to know you guys and hope to be educated. I am really scared of what is coming up for me. Even tho I worked for wc I never was educated or dealt with the injured worker/insurance side. I only worked for them for little over a year when this happened. I have a neuropsych eval coming up in March that has me sorta worried. Anyway happy valentines to all

Some one once told me I could lose 10 pounds of ugly fat quickly if I cut off my head.

backache, your husband sounds like a keeper to me also. After reading your story and all the heartaches you have endured through out your life.... you deserve this treatment... he loves you dearly ... extra pounds or not.

Since I was diagnosed with MS, I have gained a lot of weight. I was very small when I was in the Navy. I ran a good 6-7 miles at a time and at times more than twice a day. My teenagers could not stay with me. Then the diagnosis, eating didn't change, activity did, medications did, and slowly here comes all this weight until one day I say ... who is that person? My husband is so good about this. he knows it bothers me a lot. The other day, my husband said to me, who said that a women is only beautiful at a certain size... I said, I guess TV..then he said... men use to take pride in their women who had a few extra pounds becasue that meant they were good providers... of course he is trying to make me feel better .. and it didn't really work...but at least he tried. he is a keeper also...and it sounds as if you have one also..I am so happy for you...have a wonderful night. We have two grand daughters with us, so I guess that is what it is for tonight...love Red

We had a wonderful Valentines Thanks for all the posts.
My husband really is the most wonderful man in the world. He left to plow the one night and he was gone for hours. I couldn't figure out how it could take so long to plow 1/2 mile of drive but it did. I found out the next day when all of the elderly people and the single parents with little children started calling me telling me The Daver had plowed all of them out. They all said that he didn't stop so they could pay him so I told them he did it because that is the way he is and he didn't expect to get paid. I think I am the luckiest girl in the world most of the time, except when we go fishing and he catches a bigger fish, which doesn't happen often.
