Can you collect unemployment if you quit your job, or is it better if you are fired?Shy

I think it is possible, but a lot harder too do....termination was always the option I heard....sorry I donot know anymore....

If you quit, you may receive UE, or maybe not but will have to fight for it. Where if you ar terminated or let go depending on why, you can file for UE and will probably receive it.

Hi Burton,

In CA if you willfully quit go on strike or for any reason refuse to work. You most likely will be denied U/E
