I just received my weekly check and it was 125. less than it normally is.Called IA and he is gone until tomorrow.Anyone know what is happening here?
Not too happy right now.

Has the doctor placed you at MMI? If so, that might explain the reduction in benefits. The maximum for IIBs (which you receive after MMI if you have a permanent impairment rating) is less than for TIBs. The maximums depend on the date of your injury.

Yes,It is temporary income on the check,no deductions.Nothing has changed with my case.

usually check amounts are based on time (number of days of disability).
I suspect the period of time is less but the daily rate is the same.
you may have a better idea of why the time period might be different-possibly the doctor released you to return to work or declared you MMI.

1171 i am confused a little so how many weeks are you able to be on TTD? I have only been out for 3 1/2 weeks so far and am not at MMI yet..So after a certain number of weeks they lower your pay?

I have only been out for 3 1/2 weeks so far and am not at MMI yet..So after a certain number of weeks they lower your pay?No, In Texas you have two years from injury for TTD.I am not MMI according to the doctor.I think now that it was a computer glitch.Several weeks ago they had payed me the wrong amount and owed me 4 days.They payed me those 4 that they owed me.After dividing my amount by 7,the total on the recent check that they sent came out to 4 days instead of 7.I have a call in for the IA and hope that he will call me about this tomorrow.He is not very good about calling usually unless it is for his good.

Oh ok bethsa ..I guess i am pretty lucky my ins adjuster calls me back within minutes..LOL
