how to make workmans comp restart payments - lisaann7878@yahoo.com - 10-16-2013

husband was injured last year on a job he was receiving workmans comp in may the adjuster stopped his payments because his doctor referred him to a surgeon and said there was nothing more he could do for him , so the adjuster said that meant he was fit for work which he is not so we had to try to get a detailed letter from the doctor to explain he didnt release him to work he released him from his care , now 5 months later we have this letter and it states clearly that he never released him back to work and only released him from his care and that all the original restrictions are still in place. during this time we got a lawyer and had her fax it to them but they have not responded in about a month now ..is there something we can do? and shouldn't they have to resume pay including the back pay we lost?

Your husband's atty should schedule a hearing or other appeal-depending on your state.
He may need another medical opinion if he has permanent impairment-again depending on your state system.
