RE: FCE - UndercovrAngel - 07-13-2012 12:03 PM Brneyed, It's good to be back. Not only did I have the surgery, but 15 days later, we left on vacation for 10 days. We just got back on Monday evening and Tuesday I had a Dr's appointment as well as several errands to run and Wednesday it was a trip to Keller for pain management (226 miles round trip) and more errands. Yesterday I vegged and today, I have to do laundry and finish unpacking. Make sure that you get a note from the dentist stating how bad your tooth was and that he used his lunchbreak to work you into his schedule. Call the IC as well as the Dr that was to perform the FCE ASAP and let them know what is going on and try to reschedule your appointment. Tell them exactly what the dentist said and see if the will work with you on rescheduling your test. It may end up being at another location that may not be as convenient to you, but they may be willing to work with you as this would be considered a medical emergency. I hope that they will work with you. Regardless of what happens, in the state of TX, if your claim has been accepted, you have medical coverage on it for life, so they will have to continue providing that for you at the very least.
