Spring mine was a gift from my neighbor and have never seen one like it before it has a light that lights up around the edge. very pretty.

now see I am one the likes to burn my candles occasionally. Always have, but like others hate the fact that the scent doesn't last long other than the yankee candles which I have had in the past and the scent on them last until the whole jar is burned.
I got one my first year back to the states and I burned it every year for turkey day and Christmas and it lasted about 9 years that way. I had other candles I burned at other times.
Now as far as the rabbits go - me and sithie are taking a break to let some of the turtles catch up it seems ......... lol We will see just how long our break is - are we going to let the turtles catch us or are we going to move ahead some more? That is the question.

Pooh - I have a candle from Home and Garden Party? that I think the kids in the area were selling for a fund raiser. It is "creme brulee" and is the best candle I have ever had. There's about 1/2 left (ooooh, what optimism I have tonight, lol...the candle is half full
) and although I am a heavy smoker within 15 minutes my entire room smells like caramel...yummy...now you guys know why I want to win a creme brulee candle from Spring so badly. I haven't been able to find another by the same company, waaaah as Jayne would say, LOL!Yeah, where is Wink and all his funnies? I hope he is okay. If he's not around soon I will go and try to hunt him up.
Tweety, I love your turtle...I think he ate some of my corn chips cause I know I would never snack this late, LOL

Tweety...I will now go and make myself another cup of coffee...that turtle drank the whole cup...so if nothing else it should be off to the races....lol.
Pooh...My hubby would of loved if I only spent money on candles for certain times of the years. I must of bought a couple every month...always have had them burning in the house. Will say...making my own is cheaper. Yankee does make a good one...and some of the best scents...we have a little store in our mall that sells them. Oh the minute you walk in there you smell them...you can geuss where I head first. $$$ is the thing...so I just got to get my candles to that level...boy that would make me happy.
Monster...Yes...Creme Brullee is so sweet smelling...my son says it smells good enough to eat..but he says that about the sugar cookie..maple toddy..cinnamon roll too. You know what is funny...he is this big tough guy and one of his favorite scents is Lovespell...but then again he thinks it will help him get women....lol kids.

I want to try the electronic fragrance plug in that they have - we have them here at a grocery store that I go to occasionally - And really the price isn't that bad - I seen what the price was on line as well and they are very much comparable. I will tell you this yankee candle has their very own website. hehehe no need to go around the corner any more but they also have those little things to dress up your jars with as well.
