injured in CO - frustrated and tired - 02-24-2012 03:42 PM

Hello and thank you for taking time to read my post. I was injured on the job in the summer of 2010. I was diagnosed with CRPS of the affected limb. I have had four surgeries, 5 nerve blocks and am on several medications to attempt to keep the pain at bay. I have been put back to work for 8 hours a day with restrictions except for the work conditioning program twice a week. Lately I have encountered more than a few personal issues requiring me to call in. I am concerned that my employer will terminate me. Anyone familiar with what happens to work comp cases if terminated for causes other than work comp? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again for reading.

your comp claim against the employer for the injury remains.
eligibility for temporary disability is lost when the job loss is due to factors other then the disability from the injury.
