My injuries are in my signature below, and now my Left Leg is starting to cause me a lot of Pain, and I'm Homebound right now until my Dr. returns from Vacation Monday. My Condition is getting worse, and my Battle with w/c continues. My next Hearing will be number 10, and they are still trying to take away my Benefits, even after three Years, and they again stopped Paying for my Meds. Last Week. We had to file a Penalty Petition against them for my Scooter, My Meds. and this now makes a total of 14 Petitions between both sides. So my Life is Pretty Much He** right now, that's why I've only been Posting a little bit when I can, I can't set by the Computer too long! I Hope you are well, and Have a Great Weekend!!

RE: everyone give update pLeAsE - Pooh - 08-25-2007 03:56 PM Tweety court settlement on back as you know - shoulder denied - but that's ok - got PT on shoulders but doctor said that it will take a long time for the muscles to start to work properly if they work at all again right. Trapezius and supraspinatas we know are not working properly. RE: everyone give update pLeAsE - vickinat - 08-25-2007 04:51 PM Tweety Iv'e tried this several time and keep getting kicked offline. I'll try again. My injury was on 11/27/06, hurt back while lifting at work. Have had an MRI, X-rays, 2 EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies. 3 Tranforaminal Epidural injections under flouroscope at L5-S1, had Dexamethazone Iontophoris 3x's/week for 10 treatments, had 3 trigger point injections. Currently I have Pt 3x's/week, mechanical traction 3x's/week, Aqua therapy 2x's/week on days that I don't have Pt. Next week I have to have a bone scan done on my left hip and lower back, to see if any damage or degeneration has occured. The latest reading of my MRI done by spine specialist stated that there are 3 mildly bulging discs, L3-4,L4-5 &L5-S1, with L5-S1 being the worst but still mild. The second EMG said some improvement from first one done in Feb. The L5-S1 nerve root was chronic acute radiculpothy and is now only chronic radiculpothy. I use a TENS unit pretty much every day at work for 5-7 hours. With the WC ins. I have had an IME done. They filed a utilization review of my doctor. They have suspended my compensation due to losing wages to go to appnts. for my injury.Lawyer has filed petitions for reinstatement. They have stopped approving any of the Meds. because of having my Dr. under review, so I pay for them and send the reciepts to my lawyer. They also had the IME Dr. write up work restrictions that were totally against my treating Dr.'s. I'm following my treating Dr.'s only. I have been told at work that they may have to write me up because of this, but I won't take a chance of getting worse. Well I hope this is what you wanted Vickie RE: everyone give update pLeAsE - Sithie - 08-25-2007 04:52 PM RSD left lower Extremity, No TTD since Dec 06' Have finally gotten referral for injections if specialist says they have any chance of working this late. Am "morbidly" depressed, on AD, see shrink starting next week. Am unable to walk more then 5 mins at time, and stand more then 15. Severe arthritus in Ankle and foot. Sithie RE: everyone give update pLeAsE - ksgirl - 08-25-2007 05:20 PM Hi Tweety, how are you? You didn't fill us in on yourself? Injured 2-26-07, herniated L4-L5, bulging L5-S1 and L3-L4. Had L4-L5 discectomy/laminectomy on 6-11-07. I am still having a lot of nerve problems in my lower left leg and foot and spasms and discomfort in lower back. Dr says it just takes a while for the nerve to heal. I'm not sure I believe him. I finally hired an attorney because I had went six weeks without a tpd check and couldn't get a hold of IA. Finally got that check (not the right amount), but lawyer sent me a letter saying they haven't been paying what they should be anyway. We'll see how long it takes to get the rest of the money they owe to this point. I go back to the Dr on 9-4, we'll see if he's ready to see what's wrong now. To be honest I am tired of having to tell people that I'm not healed yet. I feel like I'm whining when people ask how I am.This is the second time I've had the same surgery and last time I was completely healed, no restrictions at 6 weeks. I guess I am just a little aggravated. Let us know how you are! RE: everyone give update pLeAsE - wowthathurt - 08-25-2007 05:55 PM Continuing to look for people who have experienced or know about Traumatic Brain Injury or Post Traumatic Head Syndrome. RE: everyone give update pLeAsE - imsckofit - 08-25-2007 08:35 PM blah hmmmph RE: everyone give update pLeAsE - red1030 - 08-25-2007 09:39 PM My husband is moving toward settlement. He is still in pain and he is being treated by other physicians other than the w/c physicians. He has been off ttd since 01/06. He has several injuries that were identified on the MRI that we are just learning about. He had an IME and everyone wants this to just go away, my husband included...his hearing is set for August 31, 2007. Red |
