Lilly, my Meds. have been unpaid and tried to be taken away from me Three Times. My Attorney has me using Innoviant Pharmacy RX (1-888-226-6779). They fill your Prescriptions at n/c, and if you lose your Case, you do not have to Pay them back. I have been with them for almost two Years now, and they have never missed filling a Prescription for me. You can call them yourself, and they are very easy to talk to. Just to give you and example, my Meds. run approx. $1200.00 Per Mo., and the i/c owes them about $7,000.00 right now, and they STILL make sure I get my Meds. We just had to file a Penalty Petition against the i/c to get them Paid. They have been my Godsend, and I know they can Help You also. Good Luck, and if you call, Please let me know how it went!!

Hi all.
I am ok, ....much better today. Guess I just had one of my whine-ie days. The lexapro has already helped me a lot since spring....think I may be also having withdrawl from MIA med!
Thanks for the med info...I will ck it out. But my problem lies as I already sent my written script from the MD to the pharmacy...and there it lays...waiting for IC approval to be filled.
I will put that site in my favorites in case I need it next week. Hopefully my meds will come through. Thanks so much you guys!
Limbo....how can WC/IC deny a person of their medicine? How is that legal....or even human? How can they get away with this ?
It's criminal IMO !!

The First time they just arbitrarily stopped paying for my Meds. when I won the first time in a Hearing, and that's when my Attorney had me call Innoviant. The second time they did a Utilization Review on me, and they did have a couple of Meds. come into question, so we Appealed to the Judge, and they stopped paying Innoviant again just because they felt like it! So we filed a Penalty Petition and they Paid, and I dropped the Penalty Petition, trying as I usually do to a fault to be fair. Now Innoviant phoned my Attorney stating they are not paying again, and we filed another Petition, although even if they pay this time, after three times, I'm not dropping the Petition!! Thanks for the sites Bummer, but with the Help of Innoviant, I have never missed a Pill! They are out of the Philly, Pa. area, and they send them to me by Courier. My Dr. mails the scripts, and they fill them, no matter how much the ins.co. owes. They are absolutely Wonderful!! I have been through soo much with this case, I don't know how much longer I can Hang on, especially with this added Pain! Oh Well, I guess it's time for me to go and read my own Post entitled Patience! (LOL)! Best of Luck Everybody!!

When the IC stopped mine - I went straight to my PCP and she gave me a script for mine and I was able to fill under my health plan at work. But remember I was still one of those that continued to work so I still had health insurance - total cost $12.90 Then every month after that was $8 until I had to see the doctor for a refill script again. lol
Talk about the company hating it because they couldn't do anything about it. They couldn't stop me from taking them while I was working since they were the same meds their doctor had me on - and with prescriptions I found there is less questions than there is with doctors appointments about why your seeing this or that doctor. So I have never gone without pain medication at all. Even when their doctors have said that they have ordered meds and not given me a script - My pcp has always made sure that I have had my medications even if I had to pay for the medications.
So if you or your hubby has health insurance on you - and you can see your doctor on another matter - then maybe they can also give you a script for your meds. lol Always a back up plan.

This is what I'd planned to do ...to call MD and have a script called in to MY preferred pharm (not WC's preferred pharm) and fill the script under the health care plan through my hubbie's insurance. It's still a bunch of BS that IC can be allowed to screw with ones' medications! I just don't understand how the IC cannot be held accountable for the suffering they put one through...because of all the game playing! If we played those thype of games...we'd get dropped like dirty shirts! My only hope is that they (IC) are hurting themselves in the long run...and I hope my lawyer can nail-it-to-em for their non action!

Lilly my honeys IC payed for all but the first 2 RX's.....I just couldnt play their games ....Honeys IC filled em and billed my lawyer he made all court papers where they had to pay my honeys IC back in settlement......hope you can do the same

Lilly...Was good to see you are feeling alittle better. But you are so right when you say it is criminal what WC can be allowed to get away with...and never really be held accountable for their actions. I have done without one of my medications for months because the IC says they are not going to pay for my high blood pressure pills....I don't use the pills for high blood pressure...the Dr uses the pills for my RSD. But the IC refuses to listen.
Still in Limbo....You have been through alot....I just got to thinking I don't think you have really talked alot about all you have been through with your case...I am sorry to hear...but it sounds like you have had to fight a long battle...and are continuing to fight a long battle. Not that I didn't think you were fighting a battle but...just your post about what you have been through to get your medications is crazy...and just as Lilly said...it's criminal. I have to wonder when does one of these judges that hears these kind of stories....finally say to these IC enough in enough and speak out. I just guess I don't get it...I know I am rambling...Sorry.
