Just a quick note to let you all know that I am going back to surgery today to have a brachial by-pass. Thus is a by-pass in the arm not the heart . As the brachial artial is 100% blocked. The doctor will be harvesting a vain from my leg to replace the artial that is blocked then I will go to dialysis, so it maybe a bit before I come back on. Tuffy will keep you up dated.

still in holding and now they are saying it may be noon before we go to surgery.

OK , I just had a call from Vic, Problems, but nothing that can't be fixed, Her Potassium was high so no surgery untill they can lower it , that means dialysis first then surgery. The problem is they can't do the dialysis because the line is pluged. So as of just a few min ago they were taking her to the Cath lab to insert a new line, then Dialysis and if that lowers her potassium by 3 this afternoon then she will go to surgery. So what had turned into a day thing is now going to be an overniter....
RED, she said not to worry,,, she will be at Starved Rock. we talked about seeing the deer there and looking forward to seeing you again. She sure has an IRON WILL. I will keep you posted as she keeps me updated. I just wish we lived closer, I would be there..........But her son John is her rock and he is always by her side.....
