Do you mainly google or read to compile your information about meds?
Are you a Pharmacist or A Doctor of Medicine?
Not trying to be nosy; I just wonder how you have so much knowledge base.
Thank you
I think the problem here is we are all different in the way our bodies and mind process different meds...it takes a good Dr and pharmasist to find the perfect match...You can read all the experts reports you want and its a general opinion...and we all know what an opinion is.....My Dr is very good and I am lucky to have him...I will miss him when he retires
Read waay to much stuff. Speak to physicians for publications. There is a lot out there that speaks to many of the issues and problems experienced by frequenters of this forum, especially in the literature and commentaries on multi-disciplinary spine centers such as the Texas Back Institute in Plano, and then searching on the writings of the principal Drs. of well known centers as they are always giving speeches and interviews and THAT"s where the nuts and bolts, common sense stuff comes out,; when they are explaining ideas and concepts to lay public or non-specialists.
That's the trick; finding the informal musings of the informed !

Well said. At the end of the day medicine is still and ART. It is still called The Art Of Medicine and the implication is that the Dr must have the freedom to do what he feels is best for one patient at a time as every patient is different.

You are on the Money Jayne!! I can't go to Those Sites for Medical Care, and I Rely, and Posted Clearly (with One Mistake concerning Fat on the Liver vs. Fatty Liver, Sorry) What the Dr.'s that Care for Me, and Very Well I May Add have Told Me. What Works for Me May not Work for Others, but My Post was only a Precautionary One Concerning Blood Work Intervals that I Use. I can Search This Internet and Find anything I want and Countless Arguments to Each Item I Find, but the People that See Me, and Treat Me are the Ones I, and Everyone Else on Here Should Listen to Their Care-Givers also!!
cycler it is very scary for me when you agree with me........but thanks
ChrisChris pain makes us do alot of things we normally wouldnt do and act in a manner that we never would have....But you act as a southern lady and apologized...if your apology isnt accepted then that makes that person a cad.....a southern gentelman would never be that rude...His Momma would switch his behind....and I bet many a Yankee mom would also

Now I swear they didn't work one bit as I was awake and felt the entire thing. I came home this afternoon and slept 3 solid hours. I have never taken these meds before. Now off to find something light to eat.
Cycler, thanks for the info. I didn't mean to be such a butthead.
Freebird, just because I apologized to you in a pm over a pm, and you refused to accept my apology, you think I'm a wimp? Think what you may sweetie. I do have a hard time with my emotions and pain levels, but you know nothing about me either. Merry Christmas.
Are you a nutcase calling me out? When did you send me a PM? Are you talking recently or what? HELLO?
I have no idea what you are talking about.
The intravenous demerol and percocet must have your brain imagining things.
I am not your sweetie either; Only in your dreams!
OH yeah, Merry Christmas.
