Today I received a letter from the BWC from the hearing I had to attend last week. Employer tried to stop payment of 2 meds that the Dr has prescribed for my claim. Welll they lost again. The BWC has granted payment of those 2 meds. Also today I get a letter from my attorney now they are trying to stop payment on 2 more meds. one is a pain narcotic drug the other is a muscle relaxer, Imagine getting the winning letter and a letter trying to stop the other meds, both on the same day. What are the thinking, like what attorney is adviceing them on there moves. I just had surgrey 8 weeks ago.
Does anyone on here have any thoughts on what there next move is gong to be, I am sure when we have a hearing on the pain meds and muscle relaxer, i am sure the BWC will tell them to pay them. Is this there thoughts on trying to get rid of me... are they thinking in the back of there minds on a possible settlement. If so better be a high 6 digit number. Cause I will not go away or ever bend and allow them to win. They have no legs to stand on with my 2 wc claims. I would like to hear some thouhgs on this.
generally disputes result in a settlement. if you want a settlement you have to have disputes.
generally the carrier is in a better position to withstand continuing disputes then a worker.
its not about losing/winning the disputes or issues; each dispute gains momentum for settlement.
if not this one then maybe another down the line.

Our health care system incentivizes not paying; that's a reason for changing.
Is this something they try to do before they start condisering setteling and getting someone off there books???
it doesn't work very well after a settlement.
You hit the nail on the head 1171 !
