I'm trying to put together injury statistics relating to a specific duty performed by truckers for a client. It involves the task of raising and lowering the landing gear (dollies) for the semi-trailers. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Injuries relating to this task involving workers moving trailers around in the yard will be welcomed also.

Thanks,

off the top of my head I'd say contact the trucking industry national organizations and/or the unions.
OSHA might capture some data. also check the US dept of labor -- bureau of labor statistics.

for injury/illness data:

That's a pretty narrow focus. I would not expect that any of the national bureaus to have anything.

Your best bet is to study the client's injury history and see if you can come up with recommendations based on trends seen.
