I was hurt badly on the job 2/09, foot crushed by a forklift-ambulance hospital out for 8 weeks, the whole deal. Now 11/09, had to have a planned surgery on said foot, am now out on WC and recovering with plans to return in a few weeks, according to doc.
My history with this employer is above average, always got raises when due, never on any warnings...never late, never called off-been there 2 years. I have been their Johnny on the Spot.
A friend from work called me today and said that there was a rumor circulating at work that I am going to be fired, for entering my timesheet wrong on the last day I worked prior to surgery.
I then called my manager and asked him about this, he denied knowing anything about it. What should I do, what can I do?
Someone please, any info offered will be appreciated...
