My wc hearing is tuesday, this will be the first time i go to court. the judge is supposed to decide if my injury was a new injury/ aggrevation or if it was all from initial injury. my employer changed insurance companies in between injuries. the first ins co has paid all my medical so far.
my attorney called me today and said the 2nd ins co called today and wanted to talk settlement, so i should hear back from him soon. but i probably will not take it and just go forward to the hearing. i'll let you know what happens.

well i guess i'm not going to court in the morning. Lawyer called today said ins co offered 50,000 or we could go to court. i said lets go to court. he called back and said judge postponed hearing, they(ins co) submitted evidence late, grrrrr. they've know about this court date for 2+ months. why are they allowed to do that? anyways my lawyer said if they offer more i should take it, but i'm not sure what i'm gonna do yet.

The lawyers play that game and the other sides lawyer did that to me many time and even did not show up to court,if you dont think the settlement it not fair then dont take it,but keep one thing in mind when you get before the judge what ever he decides is what you get and that could be good or bad as the judge told me its all or nothing and what I decide goes and that's scary to hear.Good luck.
