I went to a neurosurgeon at the first of the month, under reservation of rights. I was told I need surgery and was given Rx for Pt and to see a Dr. at the pain clinic. It has been 3 weeks no word from w/c. My lawyer said not to wait for w/c and get second opinion and go to pain clinic on husdand Ins. He said we will worry about it at the end.
He said he does not care who pays for it as long as it gets rated. My os will not replace my knee until my back is better, ie mmi. I just want the pain to stop, so I don't mind using husband Ins. and had allready made a appt. for second opinion. My question is, is my lawyer's advice right, not to worry about w/c not paying for surgery? Will I get my ttd bennifits, while I recover from my back ? Since this is a w/c injury will my own Ins. pay for it?
I am so sick of w/c, I feel like a train wreck, both knees, depression and now my back. I just want a little of my life back. To not be in pain every minute. I know that I am not the only one who feels this way, and am very lucky that my husband has Ins. When I read what some of you have gone through it hurts my heart, and I pray for all of us and am greatful for this site. It helps!

When it comes to medical, your attorney is telling you, do what you must do. These bills from other Insurance can be paid back when case is settled.
