sense I have hired this new att. office, they have not sent me back the papers I signed to go with them also the att. they gave me was on maternity leave, I called yesturday to see if I could make an appt. with her and the secretary asked me what it was regarding? I told her I would like to find out what my old att. did or did not do, also I told her I would like to meet with her, she told me the att. would be in court all day, so I asked for an appt. The secretary proceeded to tell me my file wasn't scanned in to there system sense they are paperless, she told me the office would call me in a week, ya right I've heard that before, They have had my case in there office for a month now and they are saying that. How can I make an appt. to see my new att. and what do I say it is regarding? W/C is a nasty joke if you ask me! Thanks every one I need all the help I can get!
First, it is unlikely they will tell you what the other attorney did or didn't do, for attorney's stick together to prevent law suits against their own.
Next, why were you given this attorney, was it by your request to switch attorneys?
You might have a problem with w.c, but attorneys are there to help you with the written laws and rules of w/c.
What are you trying to get the attorney to do?

I feel my former att. did not do there job, I fired my former att. and called the new att. they came to my house and set every thing up later I found out the att. they gave me was on matternity leave, I was patient and understanding now I feel this new att. office is just putting my case on the back burner because I don't have that big of a claim but I'm sure if I had a big case the new att. would of called me right away.
I know how it Feels when You Need Answers, and at Times We have to Wait. When We think of Our Cases We are Only Worried about Ours, and Sometimes Fail to Realize that Our Attorney's have Many Clients, and even in Your Case with Yours out on Leave, Her Case Load is Being Distributed to the Other Attorney's. Be Patient for a Few Days, and Call Back if You haven't Received a Response, and Hopefully You will get a Better Outcome! My Very Best to You, and I Hope All Goes Well!!

You need to explain why personnel feelings made you fire an attorney.
You need to keep in mind, an attorney isn't going to call just to see how your feeling. They will call though if they need information otherwise they just send a letter out. Then if the letter states they will call, or for you to call then you will comunacate. Otherwise there may just be no need to talk at this time. Attorneys have many clients, and many work in the fashion I stated. Unless there is a brake in your case, or something changes, that needs your attention right away, there won't be a phone call. Don't blame the attorney for this.
If you keep switching attorney's your going to have more problems down the road, and finding one then may be harder then you think.
