I found out a bit of info today if anyone might need it.If you collect Sdi and your check is behind, found out if you call and tell them that the delay has put you in hardship, and there is no other issue they will push your check out almost immediately. My payments had fell behind a whole month and i called this morning to found out why. With all the cut backs the Governator has put on California, turnaround for paperwork instead of 7-10 days have fell to 2-3 weeks behind. So i was told if this happens again you can call them and tell them why this has caused a hardship and they will send your check.i hope this helps someone out there.I got my payments caught up.Some good news on such a rainy day.
I guess I am lucky. I have never had a late SSDI check. I use automatic deposit and every 3rd Wednesday of the month my SSDI deposit is there.

Are you talking about SSDI or SSI? If SSDI I would use auto. deposit.
