i live in ky..my husband has settled with workmans comp..my question is how long before he recieves his check? he seems to think it will be quick...hmm in a more perfect world maybe...i have heard there will be a 30 day wait on it...the wc comp is kemi...i hear they get in no hurry...thanks for any help..
depends...did you have a lawyer? if so most settlements go to them first...not always but some.....the lawyer got mine the day I signed the settlement in front of WC judge and I got my part 10 days later....if its not to big they send it right out if its a goodie they hold on to it till the last possiable day...if it is a very large check your bank may make you wait till it clears to draw on it......congrats on being done with WC
