Smile The moving is done , now she just has to unpack,,,,, She has asked me to let everyone know she won't be back on the internet for at least a week. She said the garage is stacked to the rafters with boxe's and a real mess. LOL
She has moved about 40 miles west from where she was living, and into a smaller town.......... Said to say hello to everyone and will talk atcha soon.............Big Grin
Thanks Tuffy for letting us know. Are you closer to each other now, the same distance, or further away?
Cap, We are still 3 hours away from each other, I in Northern Illinois, she is Southern Illinois. I am closer to Bad Boy . But once she gets settled I am planning a road trip to see her and her new home.
Tuffy,
Thanks for the info. I must have missed something somewhere as I did not know she was moving. I guess now she may have to switch dialysis clinics. Oh Lord, all the mess with moving. I pray she is doing well.

Cajun Hugsssssssssss,
MJC
Thanks for the Info. Tuffy, and Give RN my Very Best!!Smile
Take it easy RNvic..it doesn't have to be done in a day, or a month or even in a year. Get your essentials and then rest some.... I have had so much practice with moving the past 2 years... I can't stand the thought of it ever again..... so good luck to you and hoping you do not have to do this for awhile. Does this mean you can go to a different dialysis clinic..I hope so...Red
Hey gang, RNvic hasen't said anything about a different clinic, but I think she will be closer to the transplant hospital. This move has been in the works for awhile, she was just trying to find a house to rent. Her landlord had put her house up for sale so it was just a matter of time, and she found a house right after we had returned from Wisconsin, She has been packing things up for a few months now, so it wasen't a big problem, and she had lots of help...... Now just to unpack. LOL.........
Thanks Tuffy

Being close to the transplant hospital is a smart move!

My sister lived in a camper parked in the hospital parking lot.

It was the best she could do, but it worked.
Just hung up from talking to RNvic, She said to tell everyone HI, I passed on all the messages I could remember, She said she moved where she is to be closer to Family, 5 min fom her cousin, Hopes to be back on by Friday, if not will take her laptop and go to town and use her sisters wireless Was on her way to buy curtain rods, she thinks John threw the ones she had away there last move, she said she has cleared a path through the box's so she can get through the house. LOL

And yes she will be changing dialysis clinics
We are back on line.
Tuffy thANK yOU for keeping everyone up to date with the move.

Red- don't worry, it will take until spring to get it figured out. This house is small and only about half of our things will fit.The garage is full. Will have a large yard sale come spring and run it for about a month as there is over a 100 container full that will not fit.

Jayne the trunks and painted furniture is in the garage as we don't have a basement.
Painted furniture is going to Meloney this week and that will help.

MJC- will be starting at new dialysis unit on Monday at 6 am. first chair. This is a new unit so hope will not have as many problems. Last day at unit in Decatur needle came out and had a major mess, blood every where.

We moved to Riverton, IL, it is just one exit from Springfield and about 15 minutes to the hospital where the transplants are done.
