It all started Friday night, my son Austin was staying at a friends house and accross the street is a vacant lot where the neighbor kids have a huge fort... Well they were supposed to be camping in the fort a sleep over with a few other teens... Well about 8:30 pm I get a call and it was Austin crying to come get him....

Well he tells me some man was hiding in the woods and grabbed him and dragged him in the house. He was on his way back to the fort... The guy grabbed him from the front of the shirt and actually drug him and made him sit and was lecturing him... Well the mans wife was trying to calm her husband down when the other boys were heading back to the fort and he ran out side to grab them..

Austin seen the chance to run so he did and hid under a bridge and called me.... I was dressed and out the door in a speed of light with my wife yelling she comming with.. I picked my son up and went right to the guys house...( adrenalin just running through my viens I forgot about my injury) I pounded on the door yelling " wheres the S_O_B that grabbed my son... I was going to kill him or be killed but I was not going to let him get away with it... I started out yelling and was almost a fist fight cause his wife kept stopping him from opening the screen door.... Now my wife is yelling at me now to settle down cause I have a very bad temper and dont know when to stop..... Now all of a sudden cop cars are flying in and there jumping out to break it up...

I told cops I want that man arrested and I want charges put against him for kid-napping and asult to a child.... They tried to make me sit in cop car but I told them of my injury so they let me sit in my truck untill they had questioned all of us...

Now I dont know what you's think about your law system but here is what happened.. Even though it was not this mans property and my friends son has permission to cross neighbors yard... They were going to charge my son with criminal trespassing 350.00 fine if we pressed charges against the man.......

And they said its not kidnapping.... Well I know if I was to grab a girl and drag her in my house without her permission I would be going to jail..... So whats a lowlife to the law ( must be me ) to do now, well we just dropped the charges....



I was so peooed All I did all night was shake and thought very bad thoughts.... So if yous dont see me on here for awhile....that probably means Im behind bars... Im going to get even, I as many of you's protect your kin and which means he is going to be taught a lesson.................God I'm still pissed and its only been 2 days............I know Im venting.......

If anyone were to grab my children for any reason and drag them into their home, they would have hubby & myself to deal with.

What was this guy thinking?

In most domestic situations someone goes to jail, one or all individuals.
That is the way it is in law enforcement.

What I'm about to Tell You Bronco, is No Joke, I did this When I got a Call from the Hospital a Couple Years ago that My Son had been Jumped Outside a Bar, and was in the Hospital. When I was Sure He was O.K., I went Straight to LOWES and Bought a Wooden Axe Handle, and Taped the One Side so it wouldn't Slip from My Hands, You See, After being Used it can be Burned, thus no Weapon, and it Does the Job!! Fortunately I came to Find out it was One on One, and My Son Lost, so I didn't have to Use it, but it Still Sets in My Shed, Just in Case!!

P.S.- You should have Taken the Fine, and Fought it at the Magistrate, just so that Bas**rd would have to go through the Criminal System, and have to Appear before a Magistrate or Judge for His Actions! You May want to Consider that also, this Man shouldn't be able to Get Away with Something Like this!!

I can't give you any advice for I would be doing the same thing. Whatever you decide to do be careful and be wise.

I know what you mean about the adrenaline, once pissed I feel no pain.

I am very sorry this happened, it's a terrible shame what some people do to others.

You know what really erks me------He tried to grab a couple other kids too.. But those kids are his neghbors to him and the parents would not step up and say anything.. This man was drinking who knows what he would have done if Austin didnt escape... The cops said he took things over board and he feels bad about it... I'm mad but I also have to think about my job and wc I dont thimk it would be well if I got stuck in jail.. My wife and I are seriously thinking about pressing charges still.. I know the DA here were not close but have talked civalized... Even if my son gets a fine at least that man knows not to mess with kids............Thanks for you ears...........bronco

This is just plain prejudice against young teenagers. The law has it already figured out that the kids were up to "no good" so why bother. They probably figure the guy was mad because the kids were making noise. I'm appalled, and I'm sorry Bronco. I understand how you feel.

Why would your son get a fine?

He did nothing wrong.

While this man did everything wrong!

well bronco, I know i would have done the same thing, i would have come unglued and my temper would have gotten the best of me,when it comes to our kids we as parents have to protect them from all the crazies in this world.you did good, i'm with you.
