So far my employer has not been able to accomidate me. I am concerned that if I lose my job (FMLA ran out last week) I will have to take a much lower paying job. Does either WC or STD/LTD make up any of the differance if I take a big hit in my wages?

don't know anything about your std/ltd insurance coverage.
if your restrictions are permanent comp will provide a training voucher and some impairment benefits. california is not a wage loss state.

hubby's claim is in wa state
something we had to learn on our own, not from L&I, is that if an injured worker is on light duty, and losing income while being treated they can receive loss of earning income.....
my husband went back to work after surgery on light duty, working self employment that he had at the time of the job of injury
since job of injury did not have any light duty for him.....hubby recieved loss of earning income......(they subtract what he is earning from light duty income from what he should be earning at the time of injury and give's him the difference)
i do not know what they have in your state....but its worth finding out!

what benefit are you referring to--be specific?
