I just wanted to pass on to everyone that my employer and I have reached an agreement on settlement. I could never have made it this far without you guys providing words of wisdom, advice and a shoulder to cry on. For those who haven't been here long...listen to these guys....there is a wealth of information to be found on this forum. When I started out with my claim I had no attorney either and eventually decided to get one after my claim was denied. I'm not saying all attorneys are bad but I got 2 of the best attorney's who fought tooth and nail for me and we've reached a settlement amount that exceeds what I expected. I'm not completely out of workers' comp hell but I'm closer than what I was. They are sending my paperwork to my attorney and then off to the Industrial Commission and then there will be a 30 day waiting period before the settlement is finalized.
