I'm not for sure where to go with this:

The problems with the right hand are going to the next level.

It started with the tingling/numbness pain on the top of the wrist/hand and going up the arm this morning. It's the norm for me to have numb fingers.

This afternoon while at Wal Mart the numbness turned into a burning pain and has stayed, ouch!

This is something new and I am sitting here at the computer trying to decide what to do.

I really don't know where I am with the hand in regards to work comp.

If I call the surgeon that did the other hand I risk having to pay the medical bills myself.

The right hand is my dominant hand.

Does anyone have any thought on what is going on with the hand?
Bummer it sound like a pinched nerve at the elbow. It could be RSD in that arm and hand. It will take a neruo work up to find out.
I can see where it could be a pinched nerve at the elbow, had a fracture there years ago.

I worry about RSD. It would be just my luck to have it of the dominant hand.

Already on neurotin for the back & leg.

Any over the counter meds that might give me some relief tonight?
Bummer- wish I could give you sometthing or at least tell you what would help, but the only thing that helps mine is warmth, I take a warm bath and then sleep in a warm bed and that helps some but the biggest problem with RSD is what help some will not help the next. I start meriplex for pvd and it helps with the RSD as well.
Thanks RNvic I will see what the therapist says in the morning.

That is really great news you being placed on the transplant list.

At the transplant center in Nebraska the helicopter landing pad was right outside my sister's room. I would watch them land carrying the transplant coolers.
Bummer- I worked in the hospital in Nebraska where the transplants are done. that is the hospital that I was working in when I got hurt . It was a very good hospital .
Yes it is a great hospital, and it is huge!

I've spent a lot of time at that hospital, my sister still has appointments at the transplant center.
I had therpy this morning and as I expected, I have severe DJD & deformity of the thumb. I was told this I need to return to the OS.
