They have restarted the transplant at the local hospital. Two of my doctors came to me a couple weeks ago and asked about me going on the list for transplant and have sent my name in, have not heard from them yet but should soon. I will have to go though work up and then name will go on national reg for a kidney. Until get new kidney will continur to go for dialysis three times week.
As for my arm, well have a tens unit now and it helps some but the doctors are thinking will have to have the rotator cuff repaired again. I will know more the next time I see the doctor.

I've been down the road with my little sister, hers was a liver transplant 4 yrs ago, and she is doing great!
I was at the hospital for the surgery and stayed at the hospital with her after the surgery, a very emotional time!
My brother-in-law is on the list for a kidney transplant. He does his dialysis at home while he is sleeping.

Will another rotator cuff repair really help? Is it possible it could hurt you more? Is there a possiblity of a total replacement in the future?
Cap- I hope they don't have to do a total replacement. The rotator repair is due to the fall I had in May and dislocation. But will wait and see what the doctor says when I go back on the 8th of Oct.
