The insurance company has disagreed with the opinion of a doctor of my choice and has requested a QME panel. What I would like to know is if they can stop my temporary disability payments or am I entitled to continue receiving them?

I have been off work for months then they sent me to their dr that saw me for no more then 5 min and released me back to work w/restrictions. I worked a few days then saw my specialist of my choice and he put me off work again and now they are disputing him
can they stop payments for this?

they can stop them but not without medical evidence that you are not temporarily disabled or they risk penalties. otherwise they would not have bothered setting up a QME medical exam.
