I saw the doctor today (osteopath) for the chest twiches I was having last week.

After reviewing my medical and seeing I had an EKG previous to the replacement and other cardio test that were normal. My doctor seems to think that this is spasms related to the neck injury.

He did tell me if this happens again to go directly to ER. Seems he wants blood test done.

The doctor reviewed the X-ray of the right knee and told me I need an MRI of the knee. He did tell me a knee replacement is in the future, and it is only a matter of time before I need a total replacement.

I have open medical of this knee, reached MMI 2007.

And the doctor is starting me back on neurotin due to the problems I am having of the low back, severe buring down the right leg.
I stopped taking neurotin in July, got tired of taking pills.

I do feel good about today as the doctor dosen't think I am having heart problems.

And it must have been senior day at the doctor's office because I was the only person in the wait room younger than 70. Listened to some very interesting stories.
Bummer, I'm glad to hear your doctor doesn't think it is your heart. It's funny how our neck can cause so many problems elsewhere.

sorry about your leg burning. I can't believe you were able to handle not taking the neurontin. Did you quit because it put weight on you? I'm only asking because I am up to 450 mg. of lyrica now, and it is wonderful for pain relief but it puts weight on me, and it makes me loopy sometimes so I don't drive much.

Take care!
It was the weight and also felt like I was in outer space.

I really don't want to start the meds again.

I told the doctor my shoulder hurt while having the chest twiches, that must be why he thinks it's the neck.
Start slow on the meds Bummer, and only add once a week until to get to the point you feel pain relief, but not too loopy.

The first time I took Lyrica, I was a Zombie. then I took neurontin. Then my doc told me he wanted me back on Lyrica and I started slow. Now my PM doc uped the Lyrica to 450 mg. I try and try and try and keep my weight down but it's not working.
Thanks Chris

I am not a good meds person, so may not start on the meds right away.

Got to many things going on to have a fuzzy brain.
Good to Hear Your Heart is O.K. Bummer!!Smile Take Your Meds.!!!!Tongue
Thank you Still In Limbo while my medical is minor to many on this forum.
