Hello,

I am a webmaster and have a friend who is dieing. She won her workers comp case as I understand it. However she has been informed her medicaid is being denied. We have been unable to secure her medical records, they are in effect being hidden from her in a grand game of Keep Away. This story is very long simply because when she did not recover, she did not die fast enough for Workmans Comp.

In the US we pride ourselves on safety. We actually have scoreboards announcing the injury free days. Many of our jobs are going to other countries where their scoreboards read, BYOG. BRING YOUR OWN GRAVE.

This is no less than systemic manslaughter by paycheck. Workers Comp even tried to play the Munchausen card.

Due to the length of this story in her own words, I hope you will allow the following link.

My Opinion Only, but I think ADMIN, should Check this Out before anyone Clicks on it, there are so Many Viruses running around Lately!!Wink
yep will leave it for admin
It is just the womens story in her own words is all.

From what I have read, it is a very good outline.

But, it did state they will get W/C to the age of 62. Medicaid is not going to take place if on Work Comp.

So, I then can say to the poster, is what is your question to us here at this board?
Bad Boy,

I do understand the caution and I have emailed the admin for permission as I have taken the liberty.

My concern is that she is homebound with complications and cannot receive the care she needs.

The current issue is her medical records. She is being denied access to them. I fully expect to find that the State is going to pursue "ESTATE RECOVERY".

We share a common issue in that we both contracted MRSA in a Healthcare setting. In her case they committed fraud to veil malpractice.

I will write more, as time at the moment is pressing. I hope to bring her here for those that are interested.
Bring her here to play also ...we have off topics a place to get to know one another and keep admin on his toes..........lol
a workers comp atty has subpoena power for personal appearances as well as records.
jayne,

Thank you, I will.

1171,

Maybe Mitzigirl should discuss this, as it is her case and her lawyer. Personally, I am slackjawed a thing like this could happen with informed consent and HIPPA.

Everyone, some of you will, or will have surgery. Please feel free to ask about how to prepare for that event, it is not at all unusual for surgery patients to contract MRSA. I am not promoting anything other than the knowledge to protect yourself.
How do you upload your avatar, I went to CPanel? It didnt work?
I sucked up to Wink, bad boy and AQA and if I get in real trouble just wait to see what admin does with my little alien its awful
