Ok, I have been told that it business as usual for my lawyer to basically ignore me when I call, email, fax etc questions that I have about my case and upcoming deposition. But is it truly normal just to basically be given pain meds at the dr visit and then sit/lie around and wait in pain or in la la land due to the meds for something to happen. Hear nothing from anyone. Was suppose to have Physical therapy set up two weeks ago and it has not happened yet. I have called and inquired about it. My next physician appt is not until September. So again just sit/lie around and suffer with no real treatment just pain meds to numb the pain and the brain? How is this beneficial?
its not but normal went out the window when you filed for WC shame isnt it
Hmmmmm misery needs company. I feel your pain

thanks at least I get a response from the forum.

I cant help you,my lawyer was great....I would think going to his office and waiting or sending him an e-mail offering to replace him if he cant at least touch base with you once in awhile might light a fire......most on here wont answer if we dont know...some will at least type something to let you know we are here...But we dont want to give you the wrong information...as for the wait yes it is very normal...pain meds cost less than PT....I suggest you call your Docs office and see if they have got the OK from WC...you can try the off topic section for a fun side of this...or http://WWW.POGO.COM its a game site many of us go to to pass the time....I play alot of pinochle there...welcome

If your in alot of pain go to the ER. I fired my first attorney, My 2nd is better but I think that good attorneys are hard to find, boy when you do hire them they act like they with fight to the dealth for you. Its about money half are paid off my ins. company's. Sorry to hear about your problems get pushy its you health. call your Dr. call and make the app your self. You hired your attorney he works for you! not the other way around. Attorneys tend to push people around. But he/she works for you your the boss, they can always be replaced. You set up your PhyThy and tell him when it is. You have to stay strong and stand up for yourself or they will walk all over you, even doctors I would be some what concernd if he is setting up your app. that sounds odd to me, but I dont know your whole case. I had an attorney that told me to see this doctor once I see the dr. the dr. called my attorney when i was still at the office. found out later they where in bed together and both are in some very big trouble. I never went back to the Dr. and fired my attorney on the spot. hope i could help. Sorry get a little carried away when it comes to people who walk over some one in the worse time of there life. Its not just the person who is in pain it effects the whole family and the rest of your life for some of us.
Do you have a nurse case manager? Mine always helps with getting medical appts. going. I have an attorney, but I work with my NCM directly. Just a suggestion. And yes, WC is a waiting game. Sitting around is your time to heal and get better. Relax, and make use of your time. Read, take an online class, watch movies, knit or crochet, make your Christmas cards by hand. The opportunities are endless.

You can do some home therapy as well.

Take care of yourself.
