There is a huge rock near a gravel pit on Hwy.25 in rural Iowa. For generations, kids have painted slogans, names, and obscenities on this rock, changing its character many times. A few months back, the rock received its latest paint job, and since then it has been left completely undisturbed.

It's quite an impressive sight.

I thought the flag was draped over the rock, but it's not. It's actually painted on the rock too.

This was sent to me and thought I would share here are some pics....

Wow!

That is awesome, I can see why the rock has gone untouched!
That is awesome. Hope it stays untouched! Tongue
Bronco I have seen this before, and I understand it was painted by a young high school student. It is unreal!!!!!!!!
Thanks Bronco, that is Great!! And I forgot to Mention the Primatene Issue with You, it Works the Best to Me, it Seems anything the Dr. gives me that's Stronger makes Me get the Shakes Inside, and the Primatene Doesn't. I have Tried Many, but always seem to end up with the Primatene!! Have a Great Day!!Smile
Tuffy----You are correct it was a Highschool student and his name is Ray 'Bubba' Sorensen. Now he does have some tallent and there was more pics but couldnt seem to find any small enough. I dont know his story but what a tribute... I think this is older but never the less worth passing around........

Still I too got the shakes ( I called them jitters ) and after time and I found a doc that treated my asthma instead of just giving me albuteral. Once I was given singular / loratadine / Advair / and only for back up albuteral pro air inhaler / and a portable nebulizer for neb tratments.... I could never get my asthma under control I am alergic to cats / some dogs depends on hair / birds / perfumes / deorderant / and some laundry detergent. And on top of that I have what they call sports asthma. I have my good days and all it takes is a wiff of someone wearing heavy perfume and I'm down for the count and by god I better have my albuteral or it's to the er for me............
Bronco, I'm by No Means as Bad as You are, when I was Tested for COPD, My Problem wasn't Breathing in the Oxygen, it is Exhaling that is My Problem, hence the COPD Diagnosis. Mine is More Triggered by Stress, and Lord knows it's in the Air Everywhere around Here Lately!!!Smile
Bronco, Do you know exactly where that Rock is? I am going to Iowa next month and maybe can see it. Any more info let me know, Thanks

This was a message sent to me by a friend and without never seeing it I had no Idea of the whole story. While looking it up I found this site and tells you directions. I did not know that Sorensen repaints it every year. But here is the link check it out....................Bronco http://www.ticz.com/homes/users/bob/On-A...A-Rock.htm
