Hi I was awarded benefits for SSDI on June 24th. I was given an award amount for backpay from my lawyer. Well my local office called me and gave me a number that was considerably higher than I was originally told. I think she said something about drawing some SSI for the waiting period. Is this possible or did she mess up the amount. We go next Wednesday for the signing of the papers. I sure hope what she told me is right as it is 3 times what I was originally told.
